18 passengers burnt to death in bus incident near Nooriabad in Jamshoro

JAMSHORO (92 News) - At least 18 passengers were burnt to death while 40 others seriously injured when fire broke out in a bus near Noriabad in Jamshoro.

The injured passengers were shifted to Karachi and Hyderabad hospitals. The deceased include 8 children, 9 women and one man. All the bodies are unidentifiable. The heirs also refused to submit the DNA.

According to the DHO, the bus was going from Karachi to Khairpur Nathan Shah. Some passengers boarded the bus again to collect their luggage and got burnt. According to preliminary investigation, the fire started due to short circuit in the AC unit.
