19 killed in passenger bus accident near Zhob district

DI KHAN (92 News) - At least 19 passengers were killed and several others injured when a passenger bus heading from Rawalpindi to Quetta fell in to a deep gorge in Balochistan's Zhob district.

According to Levies sources, the speeding bus fell into a ditch due to rain and slipperiness. Rescue operations are underway and an emergency has been declared at the Civil Hospital.

According to Assistant Commissioner Sherani Mehtab, 14 passengers were injured in the accident. The bus fell into a ditch due to rain and speed. The dead and injured have been shifted to Zhob and Mughalkot.
