Saudi Arabia releases another 28 Pakistani prisoners

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Saudi Arabia has released another 28 Pakistani prisoners in Damam city of the country.

Pakistan International Airline's flight 9246 with 28 released Pakistani arrived in Lahore on Tuesday.

These prisoners were involved in minor offenses in Saudi Arabia.

Pakistan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Bilal Akbar at the directives of Prime Minister of Pakistan has been striving to release of Pakistanis detained in their in minor cases.

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib in a tweet has also said that Pakistanis imprisoned in Saudi Arabia are returning home today.

Last month, 63 Pakistani prisoners, recently released by Saudi Arabia, also returned country due to the prime minister’s efforts.
