£190 million scam: NAB chairman moves SC for cancellation of PTI founder’s bail
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The NAB chairman filed an application in the Supreme Court, seeking cancellation of the bail of the PTI founder in the £190 million scandal.
The appeal has been filed against the IHC verdict that granted bail to the PTI founder.
The NAB chairman contended that the judgement of the IHC was against the law. “Facts have been ignored while granting bail to the accused,” he added.
He demanded that that the court should accept his appeal against the judgment of the IHC announced on May 14 and cancel the bail granted to the PTI founder.
A two-member bench headed by IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq had accepted the bail of the PTI founder in the 190 million scam.
