196 new cases of dengue reported in twin cities during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as more 196 people fell prey to dengue fever in the twin cities during last 24 hours, increasing the total patients to over 5,602.

According to Islamabad district health officer 121 new cases of dengue fever were reported in the city. 63 cases of dengue in rural areas and 58 cases in urban areas were reported. The total number of dengue cases reaches 3,227. 11 people have so far lost their lives due to dengue fever.

Meanwhile, Rawalpindi district health officer said that 75 cases of dengue fever were reported in Allied Hospital. 45 in Holy Family Hospital, 18 in Benazir Hospital and 12 cases have reported in DHQ hospital. Situation of 9 patients is critical. The total number of dengue cases reach to 2,275.
