1965 War hero Air Marshal Azim Daudpota passes away at 84

KARACHI (92 News) – The 1965 War hero Air Marshal Azim Daudpota passed away in Karachi on Monday.

He was 84.

His funeral was held at PAF Faisal Base. A large number of people from all walks of life participated in the funeral. 

The PAF spokesman said Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman has expressed deep grief over the death of Azim Daudpota.

He said that Air Marshal Azim Daudpota was an expert pilot, distinguished scholar and a patriotic Pakistani.

Air Marshal Azim Daudpota also remained the Sindh governor from 1999 to May 24, 2000.
