Traffic warden among two shot dead in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI ( 92 News) – A traffic warden and a passerby were killed in a Rawalpindi firing incident by car riders on Tuesday. According to details, a car was stopped by traffic warden Shahid Sarwar near committee Chowk. After exchanging harsh words with the warden, the culprit sitting in car opened fire with a 12-bore repeater. As a result, a passerby was killed on the spot while the traffic warden sustained injuries and was shifted to DHQ Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The citizens, however, caught one of the suspects and handed him over to Waris Khan police. The officials said the incident was being further investigated.
