20 killed as bus collides with oil tanker on Multan Motorway

MULTAN (92 News) - Twenty people died due to a collision between a bus and an oil tanker near Jalalpur Pirwala on the highway in Multan.

According to the rescue officials, the bus collided with the oil tanker from behind while going from Lahore to Karachi. After the collision, the bus and the oil tanker caught fire.

As a result of the accident, 20 people in the bus died due to burns, 6 were rescued alive. The bodies were removed by cutting the body of the bus.

CM Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has expressed deep sorrow and regret over the loss of precious human lives in the accident on M5 Motorway. It is said that every eye is tearful on this tragic accident. The Punjab government shares the grief of the bereaved families equally.
