LAHORE (92 News) – About 200 Sikh yatrees reached Lahore Railway Station for the Jor Mela on Wednesday. A sharp decrease has been witnessed in Sikh yatrees due to restrictions imposed by the Indian government. ETPB Chairman Siddiqul Farooq welcomed the yatrees. A heavy contingent of police and Rangers was presented there to provide security to the yatrees. He said that 300 yatrees were issued the visas, but less yatrees visited Pakistan. The yatrees appreciated the arrangements made by the Pakistan government. Later, they left for Nankana Sahib by special train. They will visit Nankana Sahib, Panja Sahib and other holy places during their 10-day stay.
