21 more coronavirus patients recover in Mayo Hospital

LAHORE (92 News) – As many as 21 more patients suffering from coronavirus recovered in Mayo Hospital on Tuesday. In a message, Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said that total 68 patients have recovered so far and returned to their houses. She said that 265 coronavirus patients are being treated in Mayo Hospital. “It is a positive change the confirmed coronavirus patients are returning to their houses. The Punjab government is taking the best steps for treatment of patients, elimination of the epidemic and public welfare,” she added. The minister said that about 40,000 tests have been conducted on suspected patients. “The testing capability has been enhanced in the province. The government will make the decision to tighten or ease the lockdown keeping in the view the present situation,” he said. She said that the work on rehabilitation of labourers and daily wagers is going on. “The provision of protective kits to all doctors, nurses and paramedics is being ensured,” she added.
