23 killed, 34 injured as rains cause devastation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

PESHAWAR (92 News) – As many as 23 people were killed and 34 injured due to heavy rains continuing devastation across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), all rivers and streams are in flood. As many as 133 houses were damaged due to the flood. Of them, 15 houses were completely destroyed while 118 were partially damaged. Meanwhile, 15 cattle heads were also killed. Rain is continuing in other districts, including Swat, Dir and Swabi. Several linking bridges and roads were washed away by the flood. As a result, the affected areas were disconnected from the main cities.
