252 stranded Pakistanis repatriated from Sudan

KARACHI (92 News) – As many as 252 stranded Pakistanis were flown to Karachi from Khartoum, Sudan by PK-786 on Saturday. According to a press release from Khartoum, Ambassador Sarfraz Sipra and Embassy team personally seen off all passengers. Speaking on the occasion, Sarfraz Sipra extended gratitude to the Sudanese government for their all out support throughout the evacuation effort. He further said that this challenging task was realized with synergetic efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Pakistan, PIA and Bilal Masjid Khartoum. “Pak Embassy Khartoum will continue its unrelenting efforts with other partners for evacuation of remaining Pakistanis at the earliest,” he added.
