257 stranded Pakistanis reach Islamabad from Baghdad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A special flight of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) reached Islamabad Airport from Baghdad on Saturday. All passengers will be put in quarantine in different hotels of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. They will have to undergo corona tests. The passengers testing positive for coronavirus will be shifted to hospitals. They will have to undergo 14-day quarantine if they tested negative for coronavirus. On May 11, as many as 179 Pakistanis stranded in the United States reached Islamabad by special flight (PK-8722). On reaching homeland, the passengers lauded the services of the PIA. In a statement, PIA CEO Arshad Malik said that the PIA will continue the relief operation till the repatriation of the last stranded Pakistani. “More flights carrying stranded Pakistanis will reach the country in next few days,” he said.
