26 detained in Karachi raids

KARACHI (92 News) – At least 26 people including eight accused were arrested during raids in Karachi’s different areas on Monday. As per details, police conducted raid in Tarbooz Ground and adjoining areas in PIB Colony and apprehended more than 15 people including three accused after an exchange of firing between police and criminals. Weapons and drugs including TT pistol and Repeater were recovered from the criminals, while police have also set fire to drug dens. In another incident, Police carried out a raid in Cannt Station and adjoining areas and searched hotels and detained 11 suspects. Investigation is being conducted from the arrested suspects. On the other hand, Gulbahar Police and Dadu Police conducted joint raid and arrested three wanted criminals namely Allah Denu, Zahid and Sohrab and handed them over to Dadu Police.
