27 suspects held, weapons recovered by Rangers Punjab

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – As many as 27 suspects were arrested and a cache of illegal weapons recovered in Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) conducted different cities of the province. According to the ISPR, the IBOs were conducted in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Multan, DG Khan, Lahore, Sialkot, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur and Rahimyar Khan. Pakistan Rangers Punjab in coordination with other law enforcement agencies (LEAs) are carrying out patrolling/flag marches in important areas of major cities. Meanwhile, Quick Reaction Forces have been deployed near sensitive areas.
