28 subordinate court judges made OSDs on LHC CJ order

LAHORE (92 News) – The newly-appointed Lahore High Court Chief Justice Mansoor Ali Shah has ordered to make 28 judges of subordinate courts as officer on special duty (OSDs). The judicial officers made OSDs include three district and sessions judges, six additional district and sessions judges and 19 civil judges. Addressing the judges, Lahore High Court Chief Justice Mansoor Ali Shah warned that wrongdoers should refrain from their acts otherwise they would be shown the door. He said that he would all issues of the employees, including judicial allowance. The LHC CJ said that it was duty of the judiciary to ensure timely provision of justice to the common man and all resources would be utilized to achieve this objective. Earlier, he was presented the guard of honor on his arrival at the LHC. Later, he took the oath of his office. Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana administered the oath to Justice Mansoor Ali Shah at the Governor’s House. cj lahore hc Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah and a large number of judges and lawyers also attended the oath-taking ceremony. Justice Mansoor Ali Shah is the 45th Chief Justice of Lahore High Court.
