32 years old woman dies with coronavirus in Lahore
LAHORE (92 News) – A 32 year old woman died due to the deadly coronavirus at Mayo Hospital in Lahore.
According to the reports, the patient is said to have been a liver patient. The patient was brought to Mayo Hospital on April 3 and on her arrival, she had given a written refusal to receive liver dialysis.
Death toll has been reached to 17 and Punjab coronavirus cases toll rise to 2,108. As many as 455 cases in Riawind, 457 in Multan and 220 in DG Khan have been confirmed.
On the other hand, the Punjab government has decided to extend lockdown for a week due to the rise of coronavirus cases in the province.
In total, Pakistan has reported 58 deaths from novel coronavirus while the total number of cases has surged to 4072. 2,108 patients have tested positive for the virus in Punjab, 932 in Sindh, 500 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 211 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 202 in Balochistan, 83 in Islamabad and 19 in Azad Kashmir.
As many as 467 patients have recovered after treatment in hospitals across the country. The condition of 25 patients is being stated to be critical. So far tests have been conducted on 42,159 patients after 3,076 tests were carried out on suspected patients during the last 24 hours.
As per details, 59 percent of the cases came from different countries, while 41 percent cases are transmitted locally. As many as 7,295 beds have been allocated for coronavirus patients in 462 hospitals throughout the country.
Presently 1,311 patients are being treated in different hospitals. In total, 16,737 suspected cases have been placed in 328 quarantine centres.
