415 cases reported in Punjab as Pakistan’s COVID-19 tally reaches 1,191

LAHORE (92 News) – The number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Pakistan reached to 1,191 after 415 cases reported in Punjab on Thursday. According to the details garnered, nine deaths from coronavirus has been reported in the country while the total number of cases have soared to 1,191 as 421 patients have been tested positive for the epidemic in Sindh, 131 in Balochistan, 415 in Punjab, 123 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 85 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 25 in Islamabad and one in Azad Kashmir. The total number of patients who have recovered is 23. Federation and all the provincial governments have tightened the measures to curb the outbreak of coronavirus in the country. Pakistan continues to observe partial lockdown to counter the coronavirus pandemic as unnecessary movement outside remains halted across the country. Pakistan Army, Rangers, police and other security officials have been deployed across Pakistan and cases are being lodged against those who are violating the lockdown.
