4 dead as first spell of monsoon hits Pakistan

LAHORE (92 News) – As first monsoon spell hit Pakistan, at least four have died in different incidents. As per details, the rain-related accidents have occurred across the country. Meanwhile, rain is continued in different parts of the country. The Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) has predicted that drizzle and heavy rain will continue across Pakistan for next 24 hours. Whereas, the rain lashed numerous areas of Lahore on Tuesday night, resulting in multiple casualties and power outages in various areas. On the other hand, owing to heavy rain, more than 100 feeders of the Lesco were tripped. As a result, power supply to Sabzazar, Bund Road, Baghbanpura, Shalamarbagh, WAPDA Town, Makkah Colony, Firdous Market, Ferozepur Road, Moon Market and Iqbal Town. On the other hand, four people were dead when the roof of a house collapsed in different incident. Meanwhile, rain was reported in different cities, including Sukkur, Larkana, Shahdadkot, Ghotki, Khanpur, Liaquatpur and Sharaqpur. Rain forecast in Karachi Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Wednesday predicted that Monsoon rain likely to bring rain in Karachi today.
