434th Urs of Hazrat Madhu Lal Hussain starts in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) - Three-day celebrations of the 434th Urs of Hazrat Madhu Lal Hussain started in Lahore on Saturday.

Devotees from across the country are paying respect at the shrine of the great Punjabi mystical poet. Stringent security arrangements had been made on the occasion. Public holiday was announced on Saturday. The Urse will conclude on Monday.

Punjab Auqaf Minister Sahibzada Syed Saeedul Hassan Shah inaugurated the Urs by laying a 'Chaddar' at the shrine. Religious Affairs Director General Dr Syed Tahir Raza Bukhari was accompanying him.

Director Admin Tajammal Abbas Rana, Lahore Zone Administrator Gohar Mustafa, Manager Circle V Rana Ihsanul Haq, Auqaf Department Spokesman Ayaz Ahmed Habib and Hafiz Javed Shaukat were also present.
