44 new dengue cases reported in the twin cities during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 44 new cases of dengue fever were reported in the twin cities during last 24 hours.

According to the Islamabad district health officer, 29 new cases of dengue fever were reported. 19 cases of dengue fever in rural areas and 10 cases were reported from urban areas. The total number of dengue patients in the city have reached 4,483.

Meanwhile, the Rawalpindi district health officer said that 15 cases of dengue fever were reported in Allied Hospital, 6 in Holy Family Hospital, 5 in Benazir Hospital and 4 cases in DHQ hospital, reaching the total number of dengue patients in the city to 3,285. The condition of five patients is stated to be critical.
