45 detained in Karachi search operation

KARACHI (92 News) – At least 45 persons were apprehended during a search operation conducted in the Karachi’s Sharafi Goth and Praidi Police precincts on Tuesday. As per details, as the crackdown of law enforcement agencies continues against criminals ahead of Muharram processions. Police carried out search operation on the routes of the procession including Empress Market, Regal Chowk and Tibet Center and detained 30 suspects. According police, the arrested suspectes were shifted to police station for further interrogation. On the other hand, 15 suspects were nabbed during a search operation in Sharafi Goth and shifted them to police station for further interrogation. Street criminals and proclaimed offenders are among the arrested suspects, while 3 motorcycles were recovered from the suspects.
