46 suspects rounded up in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – At least 46 persons were apprehended during a search operation in Karachi’s PIB Colony and adjoining areas on Monday. On a tip off the presence of suspects in the area, police carried out a search operation in Karachi’s PIB Colony and adjoining areas. Huge contingent of police personnel took part in the operation. The law enforcers cordoned off the entry and exit routes of the area and searched houses and detained 46 suspects. According to police, most of the arrested men are drug addicts and recovered drugs from their possession. The police have demolished and torched many drug hideouts. On the other hand, four people were arrested during a raid in Kharadar and Jamshaid Quarters.
