RAWALIPNDI (92 News) – The fourth martyrdom anniversary of Siachen’s Gayari Sector tragedy is being observed across the country on Thursday. The nation remembered the martyrs of Siachen’s Gayari Sector tragedy on the fourth anniversary. It is pertinent here to mention that on April 7, 2012, an avalanche struck Pakistan Army’s permanent base near Siachen Glacier region, trapping 140 soldiers and civilian contractors under deep snow. It is the worst avalanche that the armed forces experienced in the snow-buried area.
