5.0 magnitude earthquake jolts parts of KP

MANSEHRA (92 News) – A magnitude 5.0 earthquake has jolted Malakand, Hazara Division, Swat, and Peshawar on Tuesday.

The epicenter of the quake was 159 kilometer below the surface of earth in Hindukush Range in Afghanistan.

People rushed out of their houses and offices in panic. However, no loss of life or damage to property has been reported as yet.

Pakistan has experienced several quakes in the past. The worst was in 2005 which killed more than 74,000 people.
