Over 50 nabbed in Karachi search operation

KARACHI (92 News) – More than 50 suspects were detained during a search operation in Karachi’s Praidi area on Tuesday. In a crackdown against suspects in the city as the month of Muharram nears, the law-enforcement agencies carried out search operation on the routes of the processions and searched hotels, shops and houses. During the search operation, the law enforcers sealed the entry and exit routes of the area and apprehended more than 50 suspects. Station House Officer (SHO) Praidi police said that the crackdown aims at clearing the routes of the Muharram processions. The law enforcers are further carrying out investigation from the arrested suspects.
