50 new cases of Omicron reported in Punjab, during last 24 hours

LAHORE (92 News) – As many as 50 new cases of Omicron have been reported in Punjab, increasing the total number to 372.

According to Punjab Health Department, 43 new patients have been reported in Lahore, one in Faisalabad and six in Sheikhupura have been reported. In all over the province ratio of positive cases remained 4.69 percent while this ratio has reached to 10.70 percent in Lahore.

Meanwhile, in KPK 18 new cases of Omicron have been reported during last 24 hours. Total number of cases have reached to 52. Six in Peshawar, six in Malakand, four in Sawat, one case from Maradan and one from Upper Deer have been reported.

On the other hand, according to NCOC, 3,019 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported across country during last 24 hours. Ratio of positive cases remained 6.12%. Unfortunately, five people have lost their lives. 49,270 total tests have been conducted during last 24 hours. The situation 651 patients is critical.
