6 people died of malaria & gastro in flood affected Jacobabad

JACOBABAD (92 News) - 6 people died of malaria and gastroenteritis during 24 hours in Garhi Khairu area of flood affected Jacobabad.

A child, four women are also among those killed in Garhi Khairo. Thousands of people have been under siege for a month. There was a shortage of medicines including food.

Meanwhile, 75 more dengue cases were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa within 24 hours. According to the provincial health department, 40 patients affected by dengue are under treatment in different hospitals of the province.

11 in Nowshera, 6 in Haripur, 5 in Lower Dir were infected with dengue virus. Charsadda 3, Lucky Marwat one and Nowshera 2 dengue patients admitted. 4 people died of dengue this season.
