RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that 6 September symbolizes unwavering resolve of Pak armed forces backed by great a nation to defend motherland against all odds.
In a message on Twitter on Tuesday, he said: "The nation salutes our heroes. We owe our freedom and peace to unprecedented sacrifices of martyrs to keep the flag high.”

According to the ISPR, a ceremony was held to pay tributes to the martyrs at Martyrs Monuments at GHQ.
Inspector General Arms Lt Gen Salman Fayyaz Ghani visited the Martyrs' Monument and offered Fateha. Corps Commander Peshawar Lt Gen Hassan Azhar Hayat also visited the Martyrs' Monument.
