60 percent of candidates refused to join Indian BSF

NEW DELHI (92 News) – Afraid of Pakistan’s military might, around 16 out of 28 candidates, which is 60 percent of officers selected for joining the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) have declined from joining.

According to Indian media reports, the shortage can be linked to tense situations on the border with Pakistan and the disagreement in the BSF following a video that was uploaded by one of its jawans.

16 officers have refused to join the force amid the rising unhealthy atmosphere between India and its neighboring country Pakistan.

A jawan of the Indian BSF, Tej Bahadur Yadav, earlier this year, had alleged that the force did not feed its soldiers in a proper manner.

Just recently, a jawan of BSF lashed out at Rajnath Singh after his brother was killed in the Sukma attack. In his video posted on Facebook, he had alleged that leaders like Rajnath are misleading the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
