60 percent Omicron cases are being reported only in Karachi and Lahore: Asad Umar

LAHORE (92 News) – Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said that 60 percent of Omicron cases are being reported only in Lahore and Karachi.

Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that the vaccinated peole have less ratio of getting affected than who are not. “Citizens will be vaccinated as soon as possible.”

The NCOC chairman has recommended the people to wear masks and avoid rush places. “190 percent of the cases have increased in Punjab. People who live in big cities are more vulnerable. If four weeks have been passed in first dose then get the second one without any delay,” he added.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Doctor Faisal Sultan was also present with him in the press conference.
