600-year-old Nunneries in Moscow catch fire

MOSCOW (92 NEWS) -  One of the oldest Moscow nunneries constructed in the 14th century caught fire late on Monday, leaning un-calculated loss of valuables   The fire began on the top floor of a dormitory of the Rozhdestvensky Convent also called Convent of Nativity of Theotokos and spread to almost 400 square meters. Emergency workers said there were no casualties. Firefighters managed to bring blaze under control after several hours' efforts. Investigation has been launched to ascertain the cause of fire and how much damage has been done to the historical building. Russian media reported that the cause may have been ongoing reconstruction works.
