MQM-London’s Muhammad Anwar passes away in London

LONDON (Web Desk) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement London (MQM-L) leader Muhammad Anwar passed away in London on Friday after a brief battle against cancer, his family.

He was suffering from the deadly disease of cancer for the last 4 months.

Confirming the death, a family of Muhammad Anwar said he was under treatment at the Royal Free Hospital, where he breathed his last and was pronounced dead around 3.45 in the morning. He has left behind a widow and four children.

"He was the most loving husband, father, grandfather and father-in-law.  He was always full of love, affection and was a pillar of strength for our entire family," said the statement.

Anwar leaves behind a wife and three daughters. The former politician was the head of MQM's diplomatic wing and had also been a member of the party's Coordination Committee.
