KABUL (92 News) – On the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan, a C-130 aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) carrying relief goods and humanitarian assistance for the people of Afghanistan landed at Kabul airport on Thursday.

Pakistan's Ambassador to Afghanistan Mansoor Khan and senior official of the Public Health received the relief package.

The relief goods include 10 tons of flour, 1.5 tons of ghee and a huge quantity of medicines.

On Wednesday, Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad said that three C-130s were being dispatched to Afghanistan. "After the first immediate tranche through air, further supplies would continue through land routes. Pakistan will continue to do its best to help Afghan brethren during the prevalent challenging environment," he added.

The spokesperson said that Pakistan had urged the international community to play its role in helping the people of Afghanistan to avert possible humanitarian crisis.
