ISLAMABAD (92 New) – As many as 65 healthcare workers, including 42 doctors, tested positive for coronavirus during the last 24 hours, increasing tally to 1,072 affected by the novel virus. In a report issued by the National Health and Emergency Service on Saturday, twelve doctors have so far died due to coronavirus. Of the total 1,072 affected by coronavirus, there are 569 doctors, 167 nurses and 336 paramedics. According to the report, 242 people associated with the medicine profession are being treated in different hospitals. Two healthcare workers are in a critical condition and on ventilators. As many as 534 people have been put in quarantine at different places and in their houses. 284 healthcare workers have recovered and returned to their houses.
