ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said that 7,200 Army officials are being sent to Azad Jammu and Kashmir on the demand of the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Talking to the media on Monday, he said that more troops will be sent if the need be. "Maryam and Bilawal have started raising a hue and cry in fear of the defeat before the elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir," he said.

He said that the PTI would form the government in AJK on July 25. "The government has foiled each Indian conspiracy against Pakistan and it will be foiled in future as well," he maintained.

The minister said that Maryam Nawaz had a wish for a sit-in. "Pakistan and Afghanistan are independent countries," he added.

He said that only the people testing coronavirus negative would be allowed to enter Pakistan from the Afghan border. "The government has not received an application to remove Shehbaz Sharif and others from the exit control list," he said.
