7,702 more dengue cases reported in twin cities during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - As many as 7,702 more dengue cases have been reported in twin cities during last 24 hours.

According to District Health Officer, 122 more people were diagnosed with dengue in the last 24 hours. The number of people affected by dengue has increased to 3,986. Almost 2,313 cases reported in rural areas while the number of cases in urban areas has reached 1,673. The number of people affected by dengue in Islamabad is 9.

The total number of dengue cases in Rawalpindi this year is 3,716. So far, three people have lost their lives due to dengue.

On the other hand, an important meeting regarding anti-dengue was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Saqib Manan. In the meeting, a briefing was given on behalf of CEO Health. On this occasion, Commissioner Rawalpindi said that no negligence will be tolerated regarding dengue. “Spray as much as possible in hot spots areas.”
