Cops among 44 martyred, 150 others injured in suicide blast in Peshawar Police Lines
PESHAWAR (92 News) – Forty-four people, including policemen, were martyred while 150 others were injured in a suicide blast in Peshawar Police Lines on Monday.
The injured have been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital. A part of the mosque collapsed due to the blast. The condition of some injured is stated to be critical.
After the blast, security forces besieged the area. The bomb disposal squad is determining the nature of the blast.
According to security officials, the attacker blew himself during the Zohr prayers. The attacker was standing in the first row while the people in the first and second row were affected mostly.
