70 new cases of dengue reported in twin cities during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as more 70 people fell prey to dengue fever in the twin cities during last 24 hours, increasing the total patients to over 7000.

According to Islamabad district health officer, 28 cases of dengue in rural areas and 17 cases in urban areas were reported. The total number of dengue cases reaches 4,292. 19 people so far have lost their lives due to dengue fever.

Meanwhile, Rawalpindi district health officer said that 25 cases of dengue fever were reported in Allied Hospital, 20 in Holy Family Hospital, five in Benazir Hospital. The total number of dengue cases reaches 3,097 in the city.
