770 people diagnosed with dengue fever in Peshawar village

PESHAWAR (92 News) – As many as 770 people have been diagnosed with dengue fever in Shaikhan Village, Peshawar on Wednesday. According to a report, each house in the village is the victim of dengue. The poor people cannot afford the medical treatment. Locals said that dengue fever had spread due to unavailability of electricity and clean drinking water. They said that the government had taken no steps to control dengue. Moreover, dengue fever has gone out of control in Rawalpindi. More 111 people were hospitalized for dengue in different hospitals of the city. The number of patients has increased to 1,055. The Public Health Department officers are of the view that dengue fever is spreading in the areas as locals store water. They accused the locals of not cooperating with the government.
