85 dengue cases reported in federal capital during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - A sharp increase has been witnessed in the dengue cases in the federal capital. 85 cases have been reported in the city during the last 24 hours.

According to the District Health Officer, the number of people who have died due to dengue has increased to five in Islamabad. There are 717 dengue patients in the urban areas of Islamabad. 31 cases of dengue were reported during the last 24 hours. In the rural areas of the city, there are 1102 dengue patients and 54 cases were reported.

During the last 24 hours, 18 people were diagnosed with dengue in PIMS Hospital of Islamabad. The total number of dengue patients in the hospital reached 276. There are 72 dengue patients in polyclinic while 39 patients are under treatment in Capital Hospital.
