860 workers of banned TLP released as result of agreement with govt

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 860 workers of the banned Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP), out of total 1,800, were released as the agreement with the government was implemented.

Sources in the Punjab Home Department said that the cases were registered against the released workers.

They said that the workers against whom cases were registered would be released soon after the relief by the government.

On the other hand, the closed routes were reopened in different cities. The train service was also restored.

One more policeman, who was injured in the clashes with the TLP workers, succumbed to his injuries. Constable Adnan Ihsan was on duty during the sit-in in Wazirabad. His funeral was held in Wazirabad.
