92 NEWS obtains CCTV footage of firing on foreign nationals’ in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) - The foreign nationals’ vehicle fired upon at Karachi’s Super Highway as 92 News obtained CCTV footage of the incident.

Footage of the incident showed that unidentified men opened fire at a vehicle carrying foreign nationals at Super Highway in Karachi as they were visiting a car showroom.

Two men on a motorcycle opening fire at the foreign nationals as they were inspecting a vehicle at a showroom near Jamali Bridge at the Super Highway.

The attackers were wearing Pakistani traditional dress 'shalwar kameez'. In the video footage, it can be easily seen that as soon as they opened fire, the employees at the showroom could be seen running inside the shop to save their lives.

The video further showed that the assailants escaping easily from the spot.

A case was registered in Sachal Police Station on the complaint of showroom owner Abdul Baseer. According to police, unidentified assailants on a motorcycle tried to target a foreign national standing outside the showroom, but fortunately no casualties were reported.

An eyewitness to the incident confirmed the presence of a foreign national and his translator at the showroom at the time of the shooting and said that he went some distance while showing a foreign vehicle and at the same time the shooting took place. The assailants fired four to five shots.
