979th annual Urs of Hazrat Ali bin Usman Al-Hajveri (RA) starts

LAHORE (92 News) - The 979th annual Urs of Hazrat Ali bin Usman Al-Hajveri, popularly known as Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA) started at Data Darbar on Thursday.

A large number of devotees, including Adviser to Punjab Chief Minister Syed Rafaqat Ali Gillani, Auqaf Secretary Mian Abrar Ahmed, Daily 92 News Editor-in-Chief Muhammad Haider Amin and 92 News Group Adviser Muhammad Aslam Tarin, attended the ceremony to lay the 'Chadar' at the shrine of the Sufi saint.

Qari Sadaqat Ali started the ceremony by reciting the verses from the Holy Quran. Hafiz Waseem Abbas, Al-Haj Sarwar Hassan Naqashbandi, Al-Haj Marghoob Ahmed Hamdani and Noor Muhammad Jamal presented 'na'ats'.

The milk 'sabeel' was also inaugurated on the occasion. Jamia Masjid Data Sahib Mufti Muhammad Ramazan Sialvi held the Dua.
