980th Urs of Hazrat Data Gunj Bakhsh starts

LAHORE (92 News) - The 980th Urs of Hazrat Ali bin Usman Al-Hajveri, popularly known as Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA), started at Data Darbar on Tuesday.

Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi laid the 'chaddar' on the shrine of the great saint of the subcontinent. Former finance minister Ishaq Dar and Caretaker Minister for Auqaf Azfar Ali Nasir were also present.

92 News Chief Executive Officer Mian Muhammad Rasheed, Daily 92 News Editor-in-Chief Muhammad Haider Amin and 92 News Group Adviser Muhammad Aslam Tareen also attended the 'chaddar'-laying ceremony.

A large number of Ulema also attended the Urs and prayed for the progress and stability of the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the best arrangements had been made for the three-day celebrations. Stringent security arrangements have been made on the occasion.
