9th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto being observed; PPP to hold rally

GARHI KHUDA BAKSH (92 News) – As the 9th death anniversary of former Prime Minister martyred Benazir Bhutto is being observed today (Tuesday), a rally will be held in Garhi Khuda Baksh. The public meeting will be addressed by Pakistan People's Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, party co-chairman and former President Asif Ali Zardari. Foolproof security arrangements have been made on the occasion. Party flags and banners adorn the venue of the public meeting, while reception camps have been set up in Larkana and adjoining towns which are welcoming participants with party songs being played at full volume. The former president is expected to make important announcements in his speech. Sources privy to the party said that Asif Zardari is likely to make formal announcement of party chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s entry in the parliamentary politics. Sources further said that Faryal Talpur will resign as Member National Assembly (MNA) after which Bilawal Bhutto will contest the by-elections on NA-207 Qambar Shahdadkot and will lead the opposition after winning the polls. Meanwhile, Asif Zardari visited the grave of slain former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, laid floral wreath and offered fateha.
