9th Muharram processions, 'majalis' being held to remember great sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), his companions

ISLAMAABAD (92 News) – The 9th Muharram processions and 'majalis' were held to remember the great sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions.

In Lahore, the Zuljinnah main procession was taken out from Pandu Street. In Islamabad, the main procession was taken out from Imambargah Isna Ashri G 6 II and is passing through the traditional route.

In Peshawar, the 9th Muharram procession was taken out from Imambargah Hussainia Hall Sadr. Meanwhile, processions were also taken out in several cities across the country.

Special 'sabeels' and 'langar' arrangements were made for the mourners.
