Four accused of murdering child after molestation killed in Faisalabad 'encounter'

FAISALABAD (92 News) - Four accused of sexually assaulting and murdering a boy were killed during an alleged police encounter in Faisalabad. According to the police officials, the two suspects, involved in molesting and murdering a 14-year-old boy, were being taken to recover weapons in police custody from a house in Faisalabad when the police van was suddenly attacked by eight armed men. During the alleged police encounter, the suspects Sajjad and Allah Ditta in police custody, while Abid Hussain and Khalid from attackers were killed. Police officials that they were notorious criminal, adding that Abid Hussain and Khalid were wanted in 41 and 43 cases respectively. Meanwhile, the case has been registered against the eight accused in Saddar Police Station under the acts of murder attempt and having illegal weapons. However, the killed accused have been shifted into hospital. Earlier on September 7, the body of a 14-year old boy who had been missing since 1st of September was found in a field in Faisalabad. He family had said that Zain Ali, 14, had been missing since 1st of September from Marinabad area of Faisalabad. Later, the police had taken four suspects into custody on suspicion.
