A deplorable incident occurred on assembly floor yesterday: Jalil Sharaqpuri

LAHORE (92 News) – The estranged PML-N leader Jalil Sharaqpuri said that a deplorable incident had occurred on the floor of the assembly yesterday.

Talking to the media on Saturday, he said that the PML-N will have to decide whether it is a political party or a party of goons. "Imran Khan is the prime minister and it is not inappropriate to meet him," he added.

Jalil Sharaqpuri said: "My message to all political leaders is that one getting a majority should be allowed to complete five years."

Meanwhile, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill said that those ranting 'respect the vote' insulted the vote yesterday. "Was Jalil Sharaqpuri not elected by votes? Difference in opinion exists everywhere. What is meant by expulsion from the party?" he queried.

Punjab Minister for Information Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said that the government would deal with the opposition with an iron hand if it launched a movement against the country or institutions.
