Aamir Liaquat not allowed to meet with PM Imran Khan

KARACHI (92 News) – Member National Assembly (MNA) Aamir Liaquat Hussain on Sunday was barred from meeting with Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan at the state guest house in Karachi. PM Khan is in Karachi for a one-day visit. The MNA reached the guest house where the prime minister was headed five minutes before the PM himself. On his arrival he was barred from entering the premises to greet the prime minister who is in the port city for the first time after assuming his seat. He waited in his car and returned back after not getting permission to enter in the state guest house. To a question from the journalists, talk show anchor turned politician said that he was not barred from entering enter, they will allow him after checking the name list. To another question about Imran’s visit after many days to Quiad-e-Azam mausoleum, the PTI MNA said that “better late than never.” He also said that he had no reservations about the joining of former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) convener Farooq Sattar into PTI. He also waited in the car till the hope for calling inside but he left after a long time. Earlier many days, the MNA left a PTI WhatsApp group, made for communication between the party’s lawmakers, after being insulted from an earlier gathering at the Governor House in the port city.
